The art of dinnerware

Have you ever shopped for dinnerware? The patterns are so ugly and flowery and just blah. I need new dishes and have been feeling so uninspired by the choices I have, until I found...design...beauty...and I have to admit, a little bit of a freaky idea on a dinner plate.

Spiders on a dinner plate? Considering I am a bit of an arachnophobe, that is not the design I was spying. You got it, the bees.

I love how simple the design is, and that I am not dealing with fifty colors to match my kitchen with, nor is it a simple plain colored plate.

Check it out, you won't be disappointed. Now, I guess I just need to save up.

My new toy

I was lucky enough to get an iPhone for Valentines Day. I love it and I escpecially love the camera. Here are some photos I have recently taken:

I just simply pointed and clicked on this salad I made and I have not retouched this. I took a picture of the same salad plated on a blue plate and had to take out some red, but not to much.

I also made some wonderful brownies, again, just set the plate down and pointed and shot, no retouching.

And here is another one of my making some brown sugar.
